This is the Rod of Asclepius, the staff that the Greek God of Healing carried. It wraps around an incision scar, and it is a symbol of healing for the bone disease that I have lived with most of my life.
It was done by Chris Escobedo of Elite Tattoos in Phoenix, Arizona.

Hey! I’m doing a project involving gender neutral pronouns, but I haven’t had any luck finding out which ones people actually use. I’d really appreciate it if your followers who use gender neutral pronouns could let me know which ones, so I can get an idea of how common the different sets are. My ask box has anon, for people who’d prefer that. Thanks!

This is my fifth tattoo. Most people get angel wings on their back, but I have antlers. Words cannot describe how personal these are, but they represent my childhood and all the bad things from the past that I’ve repressed. This is my way of closing the door on those things and leaving them all behind.
My tattoo artist will forever and always be the lovely Steve Baker (The Prestige Tattoo Studio & Design) in Guelph, ON, Canada.

This is my sister Megan’s tattoo that she got done by Alistair Borthwick at Body&Soul in NY, USA. This is her biggest piece and by far a favorite, her only reason behind it is she loves the artwork and peacocks :]
